Tour de Tietema started as friends filming their rides and grew into a cycling team chasing a spot in the Tour de France. For one of their events I made the key visual, first shown on a cinema screen.
Three riders climb through golden fields towards Paris, under a pink and violet sky. Painted rather than vectored, to keep it warm. Alongside it came a set of stickers full of the team's own jokes, like 'Wheeelie sorry' and 'Dat was veeeel te hard', made to live on bidons and laptops.
